I've always loved reading and over the years my passion for reading led me to writing. My mother has always been my earthly inspiration; she's the one who provided me with books and stories before I could read on my own. Once I learned how to read, she continued to introduce me to new books and stories to read. She explained the power of reading and writing, and those lessons continue to shape and evolve my writing style.
I also want to acknowledge Margaret McNamara, a former teacher, who started Reading Is Fundamental (RIF.org) in 1966. As a child the RIF program and campaigns influenced me and remain with me as an adult, writer, and publisher.
We all have a story to tell so, I write in several genres because I've always enjoyed helping people, sharing my IT knowledge, travel experiences, and fantasizing. I believe writing enables us to be more than what others see. Writing empowers us to act on the things that we consider most important and ensures that even a single voice can be heard by millions!
